A new demo has landed - one that dares to test the ancient Great Vow itself.

For the first time, you’ll have the rules to let your dragon unleash their full power in combat… if you’re willing to bear the cost.

✨ New Demo - A Broken Vow

The land has changed since your encounter with the guardian of the forest. 

The path no longer claws at your boots. The wind is softer here, the horizon wider, but there’s a weight to the air you can’t quite name.
We’re releasing an extra chapter in our Drakonym demo series - and it’s a big one. This time, we’re exploring the Great Vow, what happens when it’s broken, and the full set of optional combat mechanics for when your dragon takes to the battlefield.

From Breath Weapons to Shared Vitality, this demo gives you everything you need to decide if calling your dragon into the fray is worth the cost.

What to expect:

  • Level 2 Character Upgrades - unlock new perks, abilities, and story beats as your hero grows in skill and reputation.

  • Dragon Evolution - watch your dragon grow in size, gain new traits, and unleash a unique elemental Breath Weapon worthy of legend.

  • Full Dragon Combat Rules - take to the skies and fight side-by-side with your dragon, and face the dramatic consequences of breaking the Great Vow.

  • Two Dragon Sheets - We’re sharing both a Combat-Ready version for epic battles, and a Narrative version for pure roleplay and heartfelt moments. Choose your preferred playstyle!

✨ The Great Vow

Dragons are bound by the Great Vow - an ancient pact etched into their very being.

But there may come a moment - when the stakes are too high, when your enemies are too many - that you call on your dragon to fight.



That choice will cost you.

  • In Solo Play: Your dragon gains 1 Discord after the combat encounter for breaking the Vow. Discord is the strain in your bond, the first crack in trust. Discord represents the damage to your connection - the first crack in trust between you and your dragon. Too much Discord, and that once-unshakable bond could begin to fray.

  • In Group Play with a Herald: The Herald gains 1 Shadow Mark per turn the dragon fights directly. Shadow Marks are narrative tokens that they can spend later to complicate your journey - unexpected dangers, moral dilemmas, or story twists that echo the choice you made in battle. Prolonged combat may also see the Herald ask you to mark Discord as well! 

These aren’t punishments - they’re story beats. They make the moment feel heavy, dramatic, and unforgettable.


✨ How Dragon Combat Works

Once the Vow is broken, the fight changes.

You and your dragon fight as one - sharing the same wounds, the same breath, the same heartbeat. Every blow they take is one you feel, making each choice in combat a deeply emotional gamble.


You’ll draw from a shared pool of action points, deciding in the heat of the moment whether to strike yourself or let your dragon take the lead. Do you unleash their devastating Breath Weapon to turn the tide, or hold back to protect them from the harm that will surely follow?

This demo give you a taste of how you and your dragon can work together in battle! Each choice shapes the story: will your dragon be a guardian at your side, or a storm of claws and fire that forever changes the bond you share?

Our artists have poured themselves into every page - from full spreads to sneaky corner sketches to the tiniest icons. We wanted to share some behind-the-scenes magic with you - straight from our artists’ desks. 


From the first rough doodle to the final spread, every single piece has been crafted by real human hands - with skill, care, and a deep love for fantasy worlds.

From day one, we committed to working with real, human artists. We’re a small but mighty team of 6, and our incredible art team has been working hard to make sure Drakonym is filled with beautiful illustrations. Flip through the pages and you’ll hear the creak of tavern doors, the crackle of spellfire, and dragons calling you to adventure. ⚔️

Ben Starr - Fan‑favorite voice of Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI. Ben joined Natural Six as a self‑described "enthusiastic novice,"  and is known for his lean‑in decision‑making - because messy rolls make the best stories

Doug Cockle - A seasoned TTRPG veteran with a reputation for storytelling risk and the voice of Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher game series. Doug brings depth and gravitas to everything he plays.
